At first, she seems childish and selfish, and seemingly only wants to become a singer because being she finds being a model and actor is "boring". She speaks very rudely to her managers, degrading them and often firing them very quickly. Though she does what she does for the people, and her mother wants her to become a singer, so she is to please her. Angela wants her mother to finally accept her, and appears genuinely happy when people cheer for her debut song.

~!It is revealed that Dahlia is not her real mother, although Angela did not know this until Dahlia confessed it to her with their dying breath. Tao eventually tells her that he and Angela don't have real parents: they were genetically engineered by a professor who is now in prison for it.
