Born between a Romanian father and an Italian mother, Lobelia is a thief who was sentenced to one thousand years of confinement for her numerous crimes. Because eighty percent of criminal incidents in Paris were her doing, she was called the greatest villain in Paris. She has a tendency to use any means to achieve her goals--including using her spiritual powers to commit crimes, and burning a famous painting when an enemy tried to use it as a bargaining chip.

When the Paris Hanagumi members are being led into the prison where Lobelia was detained to recruit her, she took Erica hostage. However, because of Erica's comical yet sincere approach, Lobelia was caught off guard and captured. Even though Erica was taken hostage, she heals Lobelia's wounds, much to her surprise.

The only anti-hero among the three divisions, Lobelia joins the Paris Hanagumi under the condition that her sentence will be reduced and a huge reward given with each dispatch. Refusing would grant the Grand Mere the right to handle Lobelia as pleases--including execution.

Lobelia is hesitant to connect with others, often acting coldly, selfishly, and irresponsibly in order to keep people from growing closer to her. However, to Erica those actions have no effect. Because Erica keeps approaching her as a normal person worthy of consideration despite her behavior, Lobelia has a hard time dealing with her.. Even so, she does care for Erica.

Lobelia performs under the stage name "Saphir" at Chattes Noires. Her dancing is very good, making detective Evian a fan. She likes gambling and has extensive knowledge of wine and whiskey.

In battle she uses a chain connected to her right arm as a whip, and is capable of conjuring flames with her spiritual power. Lobelia's spiritual armor is also equipped with a huge claw. Her Koubu-F originally had one huge extendable claw until it was revamped to the Koubu-F2 which had claws equipped to both arms. (Wikipedia)
