Shinnosuke is a struggling guitarist at the introduction of the movie. He and Akane Aioi were supposed to move in together after graduating high school, but after the death of her parents, she decided not to. He and Akane drift apart while he leaves to chase his dreams, but he fails to achieve the aspirations he set for himself and as a result has many regrets weighing on him.

~!An ikiryō (living ghost) of his younger self appears and meets his ex-girlfriend’s Akane Aioi's little sister Aoi Aioi. They discuss life and what it means to chase your dreams. His present self later marries Akane in 2022!~
