Hanako Kuzuryuu

The titular character of the series and a first-year student attending Moteshiro Prefectural High School. Though she first appears rather hostile towards [Hodaka Saotome](https://anilist.co/character/183998/Hodaka-Saotome) after he first bumps into her, Hanako eventually steps in to save him from being blackmailed by [Kasumi Takae](https://anilist.co/character/188748/Kasumi-Takae). From then on, she becomes his friend and is rather protective of him.
Hanako is shown to be rather straightforward and confrontational, as she dislikes people who use tricks to prey on others. She's infamous among delinquents and troublemakers both inside and outside of her school, often being referred to by them as _Kuzuhana_ and _The 100 Slayer_.
