Ryuichi Kazama

Kazama is captain of the powerful table tennis club of the Kaiou Gakuen academy. He has also won the Inter-High for the second consecutive year. He has a stoic personality and devotes everything to table tennis.

~! Throughout the series Dragon believes Ping Pong is about hard work and dedication, so much to the point that you feel nothing but pain playing the sport. He believes there are no such things as Heroes and believes people cannot fly. This is all changed in the championship finals of the series when he matches against Peco (The Hero) and with this, Peco teaches Dragon how to stop slowly climbing up a cliff but instead how to jump off and take flight straight to the stars. !~
