Kanae Funami
The protagonist. Kanae is a teenage boy that runs away from his home in Tokyo after feeling the pressure of city life, returning to his home town of Sodeshima. There, he reunites with his childhood friend and first love, [Akari Hoshina](https://anilist.co/character/282807/Akari-Hoshina).
