Ciel Copperfield
A grand mage who suffers from severe PTSD. His desertion during the war causes it to end in failure. He is still allowed to bless the baby prince at the banquet and has been skulking about in the Library ever since.
~!In the Novel "The Escape", his PTSD is soothed by Yurigel and he falls in love, becoming a great boon to him. Ash approaches him first to avoid this, only to almost die from strangulation after triggering him from his sleep. She eventually uses this incident to persuade him into sleeping in her room with Mio, as the mage cannot sleep without hearing the sound of the living breathing.!~
Ciel is described as having a similar demeanor to Yurigel, and really loves children. He brightens up completely around Prince Mikael but his aggressive PTSD causes Ash to feel concerned.
