Kanara Azekura

A self-proclaimed "Man of Kyushu", the captain of the Yoroi Pirates ruling over the port in Satsuma, as well as the wielder of the fifth Perfected Deviant Blade, Zokutou Yoroi - an impenetrable suit of armor. Following Togame and Shichika's arrival, he would challenge them to a duel, seeking Togame's hand in marriage if he were to win.

~!As a child, he witnessed the whole crew of a ship he travelled on - including his little sister - get slaughtered by a different crew of pirates. However, he alone would be spared and used by them as a chore boy. From that day onwards, one of his duties included polishing Zokutou Yoroi, which the pirates had kept as a trophy. Five years later, one of them would jokingly prompt him to try it on, unaware that Azekura would use it to get revenge for his sister, with the armor remaining in his possession ever since and allowing him to become an undefeated pirate captain himself.!~

~!Following his defeat at the hands of Shichika, Togame would demand that his life be spared. While this would lead to him accepting his defeat and honoring the deal they made, he would have the ship take the wrong course out of spite, frustrated by Togame's looks reminding him of his dead sister.!~
