Kintarou Tooyama is the youngest member of Shitenhouji. The Super Rookie of the West who is obsessed with Echizen, the Super Rookie of the East. Even though his body is small, he has physical abilities abnormal to reason.
Kintaro is very carefree and naive and is very focused on two things: tennis and takoyaki. He often messes up names and sayings, such as misreading "Echizen" as "Koshimae" in the original Japanese or "Eh-kai-zen" in the English dub.
