Student in S Class, he is a son of the Jinguji family, making him rivals with Masato, who is also the roommate. He is very flirtatious, and plays the saxophone. In the anime, he, along with Otoya, helps defend Haruka when the officials refused to let her take the entrance exam.
~!In episode four it's shown that even though he acts nonchalantly he has a lot of inner conflict. Through flashbacks it's shown that his mother was a pop idol and after her death his father destroyed all records of her, apart a sole tape Ren manages to save. Through-out the episode this is shown to have effected him deeply.!~
