Deirdre (pronounced /ˈdɛɹdɹə/[key][2]; Japanese: ディアドラ _Diadora_) was the daughter of [Cigyun]() and Prince [Kurth]() of Grannvale, possessing her father's full [Naga]() Holy Blood as well as the minor [Loptous]() holy blood of her mother. As a living descendant of Saint [Maera]() and a bearer of the Loptous bloodline, Deirdre lived much of her life secluded in the Spirit Forest of Verdane under close observation, to try and prevent the bloodline's spread to the outside world; nonetheless, she eventually left the forest and met Sigurd, the man who would become her first husband. She was later brainwashed and manipulated into marrying Lord [Arvis](https://anilist.co/character/48679/Alvis) of Velthomer as part of [Manfroy]()'s plot to resurrect the dark god Loptous. She had three children: [Seliph](https://anilist.co/character/13992/Celice-Baldos-Chalphy) with Sigurd, and [Julius](https://anilist.co/character/190510/Yurius) and [Julia](https://anilist.co/character/132423/Yuria) with Arvis.
