Takato Matsuda

Takato is the lead protagonist of Digimon Tamers. He is the only child who created his own digimon partner, Guilmon. Takato is a sweet, cheerful and a bit awkward boy who loves Digimon with all his heart, and likes drawing them and playing the Digimon card game with his friends Hirokazu and Kenta. He is kind-hearted and loyal, and is determined to protect his friends. Takato lives with his parents, Takehiro and Yoshie, in a small two-story house. The family lives in the top floor, and runs the family's bakery on the ground floor.
