Kyouko is a mysterious, stoic, and independent person who deliberately masks her feelings so that others won't be able to read her. Because of this, she has a cold demeanor and appears to remain calm and collected in most situations. Despite this, however, she can sometimes let her emotions get the best of her when she's especially upset. Though aloof and slow to trust others, Kyouko is adept at noticing things that the other students don't, which proves vital once bodies start turning up. She often advises Makoto on conducting investigations.
