Yasuhiro is a student of Hope's Peak Academy's Class 78th, and a participant of the Killing School Life. He is the Super High School Level Fortune Teller (超高校級の占い師), or Ultimate Clairvoyant in the English localization.

Yasuhiro is cheery, laid-back, and a bit of a conspiracy theorist. He isn't very well-liked by the other students, and Yasuhiro himself has admitted that he is quite cowardly, lazy, slow-witted, and has a habit to act selfishly. Notably, he is mentioned to be very clumsy with money and he has constant problems with massive debts.
