Mukuro is a student in Hope's Peak Academy's Class 78th, and a participant of the Killing School Life. She is the Super High School Level Soldier (超高校級の軍人), or Ultimate Soldier in the English localization.
~!During the Killing School Life, Mukuro disguised as her younger twin sister, Junko Enoshima, and joined the remaining fifteen students to carry out Junko's plan. However, Mukuro ended up being killed by her: shortly after the first murder, Mukuro was supposed to follow a plan she had agreed on with her sister, but on a whim, Junko decided to kill her for real and Mukuro was brutally impaled by Monokuma with numerous spears, dubbed "Heavenly Spear, Gungnir". This incident misled the other students into thinking that “Junko” was killed.!~
