Kenji Fujikido

Main bearer of the Ninja Slayer mantle in parts 1-3.

Originally a middle-class office worker married to a woman named Fuyuko, with whom he had a son named Tachinoki. Following their deaths in the midst of a ninja turf war one fateful Christmas Eve, Fujikido finds himself fatally injured, forced to form a pact with a vengeful Ninja Soul named Naraku Ninja, bringing him back to life and creating the Grim Reaper-like figure of ninja myth - Ninja Slayer - hellbent on destroying other Ninja Souls. The superhuman powers granted by Naraku come with a price, as he constantly attempts to take control of Fujikido's body in order to satiate his ninja bloodlust quicker.

Despite being a ruthless exterminator of ninja, he occasionally shows mercy to those who show no desire to hurt others, as was the case with Yamoto or Silver Key. He's also shown to be quite protective of Dragon Yukano, feeling obliged to make sure she's safe following the death of her father, Dragon Gendoso - who taught him how to keep Naraku in check - and save her from all trouble that comes her way.

Throughout parts 1-3, he often uses the alias **Ichirou Morita** while in his civilian form. Following Part 3, he starts working as a private investigator and self-proclaimed "international detective", prompting a bounty to be placed on his head, labelling him a "karate terrorist".

~!Once he's no longer affected by Naraku's influence, he adopts the alias **Satsubatsu Knight** (サツバツナイト), whose appearance resembles his initial Ninja Slayer self, but now clad in a mixture of grey and black, with the sides of his menpo now adorned with different characters that light up in orange whenever he gets emotional. While his power is noticeably weaker compared to his Ninja Slayer self, he is still a skilled karate user who continues carrying out his life-long quest to exterminate those who harm others, occasionally aiding the protagonists of Part 4.!~
