Natsukusa Monogatari

A samurai named Kunugi Naramaru is asked by a soldier he defeated in battle to deliver news of his death to the soldier's family. Out of compassion, Kunugi agrees, and he eventually befriends the man's family and helps them in their daily life. However, things take a turn when the man's son, Heiwa, discovers that Kunugi is the one who killed his father.
